Most projects don't fail at one layer. They fail in the gaps between them: the frontend that assumes a schema nobody agreed on, the query that was fine until the table grew, the server nobody wrote anything down about. I work across all of it, so those gaps don't quietly become someone else's problem.
That means I can also tell you when a project isn't for me. A short, honest no costs both of us less than a long, polite maybe.

Where I started, and still useful. Some internal tools belong on the desktop, and a rewrite to the web would cost more than it gives back.

Infrastructure and support for dental practices
Three practices since 2024. I keep the infrastructure running and handle the day-to-day support. A practice that cannot reach its systems in the morning cannot treat patients, and that sets the standard for how fast things have to be back up.

IT for a German-Chinese cultural institute
A language and cultural institute in the Ruhr area. I look after the network, the client machines, and the website. German, English and Mandarin all get used here.

Web modules and reporting for a software company
Built the web-facing modules and the reporting workflows, then kept them running. The second half was the real work: operating something for years is a different job from shipping it once.
United Arab Emirates
Cut automation for a textile manufacturer
Reworked a one-click cut-automation flow for a manufacturer in Dubai. Fewer manual inputs per job, and less waiting between steps on the shop floor.
